Cause
REVOdenver will raise support for two organizations already favorably impacting the future of Africa: The Leadership eXperience Program & Kwathu Children’s Home.

LXP (The Leadership eXperience Program)
The Leadership eXperience Program, is a cross-cultural discipleship program located in South Africa, focused on developing servant leaders for the continent of Africa. In a land where corruption and self-gain often characterize leadership in numerous sectors of society, LXP aims to raise up young emerging leaders for Africa who will exercise their position and authority through serving others, leading with integrity, and genuinely desiring to see communities transformed. LXP focuses on character formation and servanthood as it confronts the common aspirations of leadership that focus on position, fame, and power. Student volunteers participate in classroom lessons on character, spiritual formation, and life skills development, while spending most of their time in experiential learning through regular community outreach initiatives.

KCH (Kwathu Children’s Home)
A not for profit, community faith based home in Livingstone, Zambia, that provides shelter, education, psychosocial support, care for HIV infected or affected children, and life skills to vulnerable children in a healthy, stable and safe environment. “Kwathu” is a Nyanja word from the eastern province of Zambia which means ‘our home or place’ and KCH provides a loving and caring family environment, in which children aged 2 to 17 years live and grow and call home.
